Dr. Iain Barton

Dr. Iain Barton is a renowned South African medical doctor with 10 years of clinical practice and 25 years in healthcare supply chain management. Iain was responsible for developing the Regional Distribution Centers to support the scale-up of PEPFAR and the Supply Chain Control Tower for the Global Fund’s Pooled Procurement for ARVs. He previously served as the CEO of CHAI, the Executive Vice-President of Imperial Logistics, and the Group CEO of RTT. Today, he’s the Founding Principal of Health4Development, a leading advisory firm strengthening health systems in Africa through logistics innovation, market shaping, and scalable service-delivery models.
