Alexandra Grigore

Alexandra is our Chief Strategy Officer and one of our co-founders. She led the creation of Vero, our market-leading hardware and the first of its kind created for the international development sector and established our research agenda in machine learning and privacy-preserving biometrics. She now leads our strategy, partnerships, and fundraising. Alexandra is a Gates Scholar who won the Gates Cambridge Impact Prize in 2025 and the Grand Prize at the Women Startup Challenge Europe, and Top 50 Movers and Shakers in BioBusiness in 2017. She is an Elevate Prize winner and was named Inc. Magazine’s 2026 Female Founders 500.
