Tristram Norman

Tristram is our Chief Technology Officer and one of our co-founders. He designed and created SimprintsID, our groundbreaking app and the world’s first open-source digital ID platform with privacy at its core. Tristram leads our technical strategy and heads the team’s security and infrastructure. He led the creation of SimAFIS, our Android-first fingerprint algorithm, and is the technical lead for our AI Infant Biometrics programme. He’s been recognised as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneur and was named CTO of the Year (SME) at Computing’s Digital Technology Leaders Awards in 2026.
